Working with a small UX team at GM, we helped explore and evaluate design concepts for Cadillac's first ultra-luxury model, the Celestiq.

Project Details & Deliverables

• Collaborate with client team to define the interaction model for the vehicle's pillar-to-pillar display using a combination of steering wheel controls and a console-mounted multi-function controller (MFC).
• Conduct formative research with target user group of ultra-luxury vehicle owners to understand existing needs, motivations, and preferences
• Evaluate design concepts with target user group
• Iterate designs based on feedback and provide recommendations for future versions

• Plan and coordinate research activities, analyze data and create reports/video summaries
• Lead design explorations, scenario & use case development, wireframing, prototyping

Particle worked with moovel for 2 separate engagements: a Fare Portal for transit agencies to manage mobile ticket distribution and promotions, and a Rider App with a focus on incentivizing ridership and providing feedback from riders to transit agencies

Project Details & Deliverables

• Collaborate with client team on interaction and visual design for moovel fare portal and moovel rider app
• Conduct formative research with target users to understand the problem space
• Create user personas, task flows, high-level system diagrams, and document user stories and use cases
• Conduct design thinking sessions with moovel stakeholders to prioritize solutions and drive alignment across the organization
• Create low-fidelity mockups and prototypes for evaluation
• Create high-fidelity wireframes for production
• Document and specify design details for the moovel development team

My Role

• Project lead, establishing schedules/timelines, organizing internal and external meetings, resource allocation
• Overall UX strategy, including design thinking sessions, research approach and methods, and UX design direction

We partnered with JLR for quarterly engagments over several years, helping to drive innovation within the organization by understanding driver behaviors, desires, and pain points, and prototyping solutions to address them.
